Chabichou is a name derived from the Arab word “chabli” for goat. Made in the “Vienne” area with pasteurized milk, this cheese is moulded by hand. Its characteristic shape is a small cone.
It is ripened for a minimum of 9 days, and when ripened for a long period, its mild
fruity flavour becomes more pronounced.
