- 4 big tomatoes
- 10,6 oz mozzarella
- 1 bunch basil
- Pine nuts or broken walnut
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Sea salt
Cut the mozzarella into thin slices. Cut the tomatoes into thin slices.
Arrange the tomatoes on the platter overlapping them and garnish the entire dish. Insert the slices of mozzarella between slices of tomatoes.
Prepare a vinaigrette sauce (salad dressing) with olive oil, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle tomato and mozzarella with the salad dressing. Collect fresh basil leaves and chop them finely, then sprinkle pine nuts or chopped walnuts on the tomatoes.
I add, at the end, a pinch of salt to enhance the taste of tomatoes and make this dish even more refreshing.
